Directions
Sprinkle and cover 2 chicken breasts with the TBQ Rib, Chicken and Butt Rub. Let marinate in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
Then place chicken in a crockpot and pour a very generous amount of TBQ Zesty sauce, about 1/4-1/2 cup. Add enough water to just cover the bottom of your crock pot. This helps the chicken not stick. Depending on your schedule you can cook this recipe low and slow for 6-8 hours or on high for 3 hours. You want to cook the chicken long enough that it starts pulling apart very easily.
After the chicken is pull-apart ready, grade some cabbage or use a bag of slaw and add 2 heaping tablespoons of mayonnaise, a splash of pickle juice and 1 teaspoon or to taste of the TBQ Coleslaw Dressing Blend. Mix. If the coleslaw is too dry for your liking you can add a bit more mayo.
Toast a bun of your liking, add TBQ honey sauce on the bottom of the bun, place chicken on top, then coleslaw and top with bun. You can also add additional toppings like cheese, tomatoes and pickles.
